RECREATIONAL/CAMP FIRES:

       Guidelines for Recreational Burning in The City of Dover.

1. Trimmings and downed tree parts may be disposed of by hauling to the City Brush Pile.
2. The Recreational/Camp Fire may be no larger than 3 feet in diameter and 3 feet in height.
3. The fire is to be used for out-door cooking and/or a focal point for social activity.
4. Examples of items that may be burned are dried small limbs, branches and split wood.
5. Items not to be burned are leaves, grass, garden items, wet wood, treated/painted wood or garbage of any kind.
6. THE FIRE MUST BE ATTENDED AND EXTINGUISHED BEFORE LEAVING UNATTENDED!
